I purchased a "free" sample of this PureSlim365 product that I had seen recommended by Dr. Oz.  During the checkout proces, I was forced to also purchase the "free" sample of a companion cleanse product that supposedly enhances the original product.  For each bottle of pills I was charged $4.95 for shipping and handling.  I assumed the charge would be from a single entity, but was charged by two different companies.

Approximately 2 - 3 weeks later, I received 2 more charges to my account - one from CHPDIET for $89.95 and one from WELLSLEAN for $69.97.  I had certainly not been expecting these or budgeting for them in my bank account, and since I had paid the original amount by debit card, this generated approximately $224 in overdraft fees by the time I noticed what had happened.  I filed a disputed charges claim with my bank, but in the meantime, I received a second set of charges, initiating another $266 in overdraft fees.  I have gotten a new debit card, so I know I won't be charged further, but my bank has only credited my account for $128 of the fees, which didn't even bring my account into a positive balance.

After the first set of charges, I tried to go back to the website where I had made the original purchase to see if I could find a phone number to call to dispute the charges or get my money back.  I have not received any product since the original "free" shipment, so I didn't feel I should be charged.  I have been unable to find the specific site from which I ordered those "free" pills.  I did try calling one number on a site I thought I had ordered from, but they claimed not to have any account under my information.  I have looked at numerous sites and none are exactly the same site as the original.  In addition, there was no invoice or packing slip with any information included in the packages (each bottle came separately).

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that these sites appear to be sponsored or endorsed by Dr. Oz - who knows if he legitimately allows his name to be used.  If he doesn't, I would think he'd be doing more to fight them.
