Purrfect Auto Total Rip Off Las Vegas, Nevada

In light of the fact that I was unable to find one positive review on Purrfect Auto and that company has been all over the news and television as of late as ripping off customers, I feel justified in my statement on their dishonest practices.  The only reason I didn't research it further was I was hospitalized and my son in law is from out of state and thought he was doing me a favor by taking it to a mechanic and surprise me.  Boy was I surprised when he told me where he took it.  Oh well it's the thought that counts.

I hope the cheap job done on the timing belt does not bite you for a bunch more money later. Most shops wont change a timing belt without changing the idled pulleys also but at that low price I think thats what was done to your car. The kit retails for more than $250.00 where I live and the flat rate is 2.7 hrs, that adds up to $550.00 plus tax, if the manufaturer recomends changing the water pump when changing the belt (and Toyota does on most V6 cars) then there is another $200.00 easy. So if the belt or water pump fail before the next belt service you know who to poiunt your finger at. You and the cheap shop you wasted your time at.

When the check engine light comes on there are between 200 hundred and 1,000 deferent faults that can cause that depending on the car. It is remotely possible the shop didn't repair it correctly the first time but much more likely (85% ish) you have a new unrelated problem and the repair shop is 100% entitled to charge for the second repair.

More info on the fault would make me much  more sure about my guess.
