I contacted this agent via Craigslist. 

We met once I arrived in Puerto Vallarta and he showed me some differnent rental options.

I found one I wanted and the agent provided me a signed agreement with a move in and move date.

I paid for the unit and was to move in that afternoon after it was cleaned.

The agent then came back and said the owner wanted a larger desposit.  I refused since we had signed an agreement.

I then asked for my money back.  I was told he had already wired it to the owner and it would take two days to get it back.

After a month I still did not have the money.  I did file a police report.

I moved to another unit where I paid the owner directly.  He told me this guy is known to be a scam artist and had not only changed his name but also changed the company name.

I went to the Mexican authories and his company is a fraud and not licenesed.

He is ripping off people daily but so far the police have not arrested him.

His wife is also involved. 

THis guy can be dangerous.  Be careful

Suggest never to do business with this man.  Also when doing business in MX only pay with credit card or paypal.
