On March 20, 2014, I was trying to access a website and a questionnaire kept popping up to the point that I answered to 5 or 6 questions just to get it off the computer screen. At the end, three or four choices of a reward for answering the questionnaire came up. One reward was a watch for the S & H price of $5.99 and I clicked that choice. I did it because it promised a three-year battery and that was about the price for a battery alone. Also, I had made this choice about a year before and got the watch for the $5.99 total price. On April 4, 2014, a $95.00 charge was made on my Visa card, apparently for the watch QMAX had offered as a reward.
I have filed a protest with my Visa and have offered to return the watch to QMAX. First, I did not purchase one of these Chinese watches and cannot use it at any price. It is a simple ripoff. Other than being a product I don't need, I cannot read the time on it. The face is a metallic grey and the hands are silver. My close eyesight is not good enough to perceive the time.

Dispute Resolution

Following my Rip Off report and e-mail to the QMAXEDITION organization, a credit of $95.00 was recorded on my VISA statement in full resolution of my dispute. I had also filed a dispute with my VISA bank, but believe that the resolution came from QMAX as they indicated their intention to credit my account in an e-mail.
