This company preys on professionals. They get your email  and then ask to interview you about a professional topic eg nursing, medicine, sales, consumers products, medication, HMOs etc. They offer to pay you very well for a 45 minute to 1hour interview by phone. They then call and ask many questions picking your brains about how an industry works, what are the most popular products, what treatments do you use, what medications do you prescribe , Who do you see as major competitors, why you like or dont like a product etc.

Then  you never hear from them again. Lia Pasternack is the woman behind this outfit. She does not reply to repeated emails, stops taking phone calls, does not return messages and does not pay as promised.

This is unsusual because they prey on experts or professionals. I suspect they do have a real high paying client who is doing market research, oppositionn research etc. The topics are fairly specific. I think Pasternack gets these high paying customers, gets you as the expert to provide answers, sells answers to her client for a high price and then she rips you off by not paying you. Her clients most likely think she is a legitimate research firm with access to many experts.
