Quality Used Transmissions Dishonest! Grand Rapids Michigan

I will keep this VERY brief.

Ordered a used transmission from Quality Used Transmissions on 11/20/2015. The transmission was delivered and installed and was DOA (dead on arrival). It jerked and could not engae the reverse gear.

I requested another transmission and it was resent and installed. 

Alex initially had promised to refund me the $400 of the $650 in labor costs I incurred istalling the dud transmission.

It is now February 22nd and I am still chasing down the labor costs of the initial installation. Finally Alex responded to day sayign theya re denying the $400 in labor cost reimbursement due because...in his own email "We exchanged the unit for another one but due to the mileage and time frame after the warranty was submitted for the activation we will not cover labor due to the 14 days and 500 put on the trans"...Alex Black

This is totally stonewalling because the initial transmission was not even driveable. It weas dead on arrival. I am pursuing legal action and I would advise anyone else to think twice about using their products. They have no vested interest in testing them properly before they leave the facility and like me you run the risk of being out $650 plus in labor costs if not more.
