Earlier this month my wife and I went to Queens Auto Auction with the intent to purchase a much needed car. The salesperson Dean told us that they required a deposit in order to check my credit for financing on a vehicle. He assured us that if the terms were not agreeable or if I just changed my mind on the car, that my deposit was fully refundable. He said they would not even take the money off my credit card but just authorize it. Also, he said that it was a sign of good faith on my part that I was really interested in the car and would move my application up to the top.  He gave me a credit card receipt with "no refund" printed on the bottom. When I inquired about this, Dean said not to worry about it because it is a just pre-printed receipt and he initialed and wrote "refundable" on it. However, early the next day they already took the money from my card! I checked with him on the financing. He gave me finance terms that I could not meet. Then he transferred me to the finance dept. I told her that I could not work with those numbers, so cancel the transaction and return my deposit. She said she would tell Dean and transfer me back to him. After holding several minutes, I was ung up on. I called back, said who I was and hung up on again! I have left several voice mail messages and I sent the business an email through their website but have been ignored. To date, I  have not heard from them nor received my refund.
