Qwest, Teleseven LLC Aka OAN Service Dir Asst charges on my phone bill, I never made this phonecall Internet

I had fraudulent charges on my current phone bill from Teleseven LLC aka OAN Services. This is the same as others on this website. It was a bill from Mar 01, 2005 for DIR ASST to NV 702-555-1212 for $4.34 plus various taxes. Qwest did not seem too concerned, but told me they would bounce the charges back.

I too had trouble reaching the OAN/Teleseven at my convenience. When I did reach them, a lady told me that they showed that I made the call using a 10-10-# from my phone. I said no way, I use calling cards and/or my cell phone. I was out of town that day, and my husband was at work at the reported phone call time. She was happy to remove this charge from my phone bill, but offered no explanation or reason why it was there to start with. I told her I reported it to the FCC also. She seemed unconcerned. I believe this will go on as long as people just pay their bills without looking at the details.

THIS IS A GIANT RIPOFF!! Read all your bills, especially your phone and credit card bills. If there is something on there you did not authorize, fight it. It is not so much the dollar amount, as it is the fraud. Multiply this charge amount by a few thousand people who don't read thier bill, and just pay it. So sad this kind of stuff is out there.
