RAB INC Act as a collection Agency to collect from an account that never existed Richmond California

I received a letter from RAB INC saying that their client placed me with them for collection on the delinquent account. As it turns out Capital One does not deal with this so called collection agency. The account number doesn't and never existed.

The have 2 different addresses on the letter, one is for memphis and another for Wixom MI. When you call them there is no formal co. protocol revealing co. name, who your speaking with. I hope someone puts a stop to them as this is time consuming.
