ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES EVER...I had an engine put in, when I got it back multiple things did not work, AC, blowers, etc. Kinda blew that off. Then 7 months later the head gasket needs to be replaced....Or so Jim Raboin told me. I bring the truck in and a couple weeks later finally get a hold of Jim he says it can be picked up. I tell him my son will pick it up and I will send my debit card with him. He says NO I NEED CASH. I said that won't work, and he says when you get cash let me know and you can have your truck back. When I question this he says his Credit card machine is not working and the guy that fixes it is in Texas. I believe this was because he knew if I paid with a card I could dispute the charges when I found out the work was not done, as others have done. When my son picks it up it is running worse than when we brought it in, and there is still antifreeze in the oil and oil in the antifreeze, the reason it was brought in. Yet he will not answer my calls. Finally he calls back and says "Well you haven't changed your oil since we put the engine in" I respond umm. Yea it's been done twice, the receipts are sitting right here. He then comes up with some story about my oil filter, and then tried to blame the shop that changed my oil. After I let him know I had another mechanic look at it and tell me it was not fixed, he decides he will fix it for no charge. I said I just wanted my money back as the work was not done. He said absolutely not, but let them make it right and look at the truck to see what could be wrong. I should have said no, but already having paid them $2700 in 7 months I said yes, I figured they owed it to me.

After weeks of refusing to return calls, my son goes out there, Jim Raboin says they just didn't flush it well enough, it's fine, but now needs another $200 part/work, and recommended we sell the truck right away. That's not a red flag or anything. I told my son to get my truck out of there immediately. Bottom line, bad repair work, horrible customer service, or really none, tried blaming me for their bad work. I spoke with the police after picking up the truck, they said they were well aware of Raboins and if they get the chance to go after them they would be. They said this was civil and recommend filing a civil suit against them. They also recommended looking up their criminal record on CCAP, WOW that says it all. A whole page of years of law suits, all the same. Every one in which they lost!
