I was trying to get into my email and a window kept poping up and would not let me in. It stated that I had to call this number: 877-514-6954 as it was a microsoft issue and it was the only way to resolve. I called the number and stated that I could take my computer to a Microsoft store and they would fix it and he insisted that he was from Microsoft and that I had to pay $99.99 dollars to fix the mess he stated my computer was in. When his supervisor came on the line to ask if I was authorizing the payment, I told him that it was their spam on my computer that caused the problem in the first place. He did not deny this - he justified it as saying that I had a lot of problems with my compter and they had to fix it. I did not have any problems until they spamed my computer and forced me to allow them to have access to fix it. I am calling my credit card company to stop payment and will be deleting this from my comupter.

How to FIX

AUTHOR: MARKWW01 - ()

POSTED: Sunday, February 15, 2015

First they are scamers on the internet saying they can fix your computer. You might have had a email and it pops up the window. If you have downloaded Malwarebytes the free edition or have a antivirus program they should have piced that hoax and delted it. Get your money from the bank

The best thing to do is restore your computer to a day or 2 before you let them into your machine, they go through all your stuff from pictures to emails and passwords and also banking info.

Run a full scan on the antivirus

BUT FIRST UNHOOK THE INTERNET FROM THE COMPUTER   so the stuff they did can't be rerouted. The computer and them then can't talk through the net in back ground software.

If all fails restore the computer again a day or 2 back again but run antivirus software and malwarebytes and it should clean the system
