On 3/6/2008 we decided to renew change the hosting from Intermedia to Rackspace. Intermedia gave us a good deal but Rackspace was more expensive 1000 dollar so we decided to go for the quality service and pay more and get Rackspace. there sales manager James Howard hounded us with calls for about a month and convinced us that they are better so we decided to go for them cause we heard they are good. I read a couple of bad reviews online about them but we still decided to go with them
3/8/2008 we started migrating our hosting from Intermedia to Rackspace. We discovered that Rackspace didnt give us an email service with our hosting. we contacted them and asked about it and they said that we have to pay more for an email service. I called management and said that this wasnt management and they didnt disclose this , and that they lied to us in order to get the sale. they said we will contact management and get back to us.

today we got an answer that they said they want us to pay an extra money for the service which is equivalent to the discount that they gave us in order to sign the contract with them. I would like to file for a full complaint against this company and want my money back. there is no use for a hosting for us without an email we cannot use it without it.

I want to file a complaint about there deception and there cold calling practices to get the contract and after they get the money they told us we have to pay more. we would like to get our money back since we cannot use there server without email, this is the main purpose to upgrade to a good company to use the email system for hosting and our site. how can we get a dedicated server without having an email service. also one month and a half of service that we had to pay for the other company since we are waiting for there reply, $1440 + $760
