I ordered and pre-paid a plaque of my childs' hand print more than a month before Christmas from Cherished Prints at the Disney Studios Holiday Craft Faire. The plaque was to arrive at my home by December 22, perfect for a Christmas gift. But it did not arrive.

After waiting one more day and as I was getting ready to go out of town I decided to contact Rada. She kept me on the phone forever because she could not find any records that showed my order. She kept shuffling through papers which I could hear in the background and finally said she'd call me back.

When she called she said I would not be getting my plaque, because she did not finish it. She said she could send it in about two or three weeks.

This was my childs' gift to her father for Christmas. A print of a child's hand which could become a precious memory in years to come.

To top it all off she was surprised to hear that I wanted a refund. The refund was supposed to be sent about a week later ( which means around December 30th). I just got my check today, it is now February11th!

Rada Thomas offers her plaques at many craft faires and pretends to be sweet and caring. Convincing her customers about how wonderful it will be to have a plaque of their childs hand or foot print. In reality she is an awful, irresponsible business person who does not deserve to have a hard working parents money!

Rada Thomas' Cherished Prints Response-I did not rip her off!!! I refunded the money.

Normal handmade clay prints take anywhere from 6-8 weeks to make. If you were to go to any company that makes these plates, the time to produce them would be similar. I understand that it is a long time, but they are a hand made item, and the time frame is explained in advanced.

Yes, i did keep Susan on the phone shuffling through my paper work looking for her order. I could not find it. I called back in a timely manner with a crushed spirit, confessing that I had missed filed her paper work and had it filed to be ready in January and not December. I simply had made a mistake and it was not going to be ready on time. I explained that I could get it to her in a few weeks understanding that it was not going to be ready for Christmas, I was truely sorry and upset about this mistake I had made.

I was surprised to hear that Susan wanted her money back, because as Susan described in her complaint it is a precious memory that you cherish for years to come. I was going to be a few weeks late, and was surprised that she would not want to keep this memory even if I could not get it to her in time for Christmas. That was my surprise.

Yes, I have to admit it took me months to refund Susan's money and for that I am truely sorry. I am rebutting this becasue I feel as if I have been wronged by Susan labeling me as a rip off when she did get a full refund.

She also stated that I pretend to be caring and sweet, this is not an act, I do care about my customers and that is why I refunded her money. She again goes on to call me an awful, irresposible person, when if you read both parts of this story my crime was a filing mistake that I tried to do right by rushing her plate to her in 2 weeks and taking to long to give Susan a full refund of her purchase, which I admit was not right.
