These companies "5 Stars Vacations", All Star Vacations, plus many more (please read at the bottom of the page) which operate out of Miami Florida are a SCAM! They will tell you you won a prize and that you will get this amazing vacation for 4 nights to either Orlando, Las Vegas, Punta Cana, or Cancun, and that you ONLY have to pay the administrative taxes of $250-$400, and require you to give them your credit card number, and then they will steal your money. They will tell you its only $200 or $400, and then they will start charging you for this and for that, and all these hidden fees, before you know it you lost $800!!! ITS A SCAM WHICH IS RUN BY CON ARTISTS!!!! Its a timeshare scam!!! Its fraudelent advertising, they wont even disclose to you on the phone its a timeshare, until you get your "vacation package" in the mail a few weeks later (because thats how long it will take the money from your card to clear in their account)! You might not get your "vacation package" in the mail period!
Remember the golden rule, if you are told you won a contest, and you have to pay something upfront, ITS A FRAUD!
Dont give them your credit card number, AND IF YOU ALREADY DID, 'DON'T' EVEN BOTHER CALLING THEM TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK, INSTEAD CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND FILE A DISPUTE!!!! Because if you call 5 Star Vacations for a refund, they will give you the run around, telling you to send in a fax, or a supervisor will call you back within 48 hours, etc... IF YOU ALREADY GAVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER, CALL YOUR CARD AND FILE A DISPUTE!!! YOU MAY EVEN NEED TO CANCEL YOUR CARD!!! This scam mostly targets Latinos. They constantly advertise on the Spanish radio stations 94.9 Mega in Miami, Dallas, Puerto Rico, California, etc... These radio stations allows them to advertise since obviously they get a big cut out of it. These radio stations should be held accountable for all this crap!
