I bought two 9 feet cable adapters and the clerk talked me into buying extended warranty on both.
The saleswoman told me I don't need to keep the packaging just the receipt and if anything happens return it with the receipt only.
I did exactly what I was told and my adapter fell apart without any fault of me misusing it. Mr. Guzman greeted me at the door and I told him my issue and he referred me to the Sales Clerk Adriana. Adriana said that its normal wear and tear and it's not covered. My extended warranty is good through 2018 and they saw the end piece broke off. The wire is in perfect condition. I asked Adriana her last name and she refused to tell me.
I will never spend a dime in any Radio Shack with this kind of customer service and not keeping their word.
Beware buying with their warranty plans as they are a scam.

Accidental damage....

Whilke Im sure YOU feel justified by making this post, there is a REALITY you are chosing to ignore. YOUR warranty does NOT cover accidental damages. THAT is what YOU are whining about. The FACT that YOU broke your cable and YOU couldnt use the warranty. GET OVER IT!!!!! As far as I know there are NO warranties that cover your rump when YOU break the item!!!! Its NOT the employees fault that YOU broke YOUR item. The employee MUST follow the rules of their job just as YOU have to. So be thankful that nothing has happend to that employee due to YOUR post. IF ANYTHING happens to that employee due to YOUR post, well that employee will have a solid case against YOU in both a civil AND criminal proceeding. The funny part is YOU are attempting to play the victim when YOU are in fact victimizing both a innocent person AND company all due to YOUR negligence with YOUR items. One wonders how quickly YOU would post if there was a legal proceeding against YOU for what YOU willingly and with malice chose to post.
