Ramada Plaza And Resort In Ft. Lauterdale/Orlando almost got me Ft. Lauterdale Florida

I was dumb enough to call when I received a $1,600 "voucher". At first, I was told I would get 3 nights in Ft. Lauterdale, 2 night cruise, 2 nights in Orlando for $350 pp. I kept being negative and the "salesman" "comped" me an extra night in Orlando and an outside cabin on the cruise and a 2-day pass to universal (which he did not tell me I had to take another tour for). When I got the coupons in the mail, I did not see anything about an extra day or an outside cabin, and not to mention there was another fee of $198 due which I was unaware of because I asked several times if there were additional fees and was told only if there was a 3rd or 4th person there is a port fee of 99/child and 129/adult and that other members (if any) were free in the hotel room. I called them and they put me on hold for a VERY long time. Then when someone finally answered they were rude and condescending. I told them that "someone" (the man's name I never wrote down) comped me and it was not in my packet, I was told they have no record of it and that it is not valid unless in writing (well how the he** am I supposed to have it in writing when this was all done over the phone. He told me this was not his problem and I had to call a different number, which I did and got cut off twice (on purpose ??). I finally called my credit card company and filed a grievance report on Ramada plaza REsort with Bank of America and I was told by them I will not be responsible for the bill. That was the only way I could get out of this scam. Hope this helps for anyone else with "hindsight" that are trying to get out of this.
