I recieved a what looked like a free cruise to Nassau in the mail tonight. After calling and wanting more information on the trip, I was pulled in by getting the extended package. After giving my credit card number and signing up for the trip I decided to check it out on the internet. I should have researched it first, but they want you to make the decision right then on the phone.

So, I caved like most other people that have fallen for this trip offer. After researching this trip offer I freaked out and called my credit card company to try and stop the payment. But, of course they could not stop the payment in time. So, I will have to try and call Ramada tomorrow and attempt to get my moeny back. If Ramada doesn't give me my money back I will have to call my credit card company and have them help me file a dispute. It sounded to good to be true and it looks like I fell for the scam. I will hopefully never fall for a scam like this again! I will keep you posted on what happens next!

I was finally able to talk to someone today. The first time I called them back, the very next day I was told that my information was not in the system yet and there was nothing they could do yet about the refund. While I was talking to this sales women who became very ugly with me I was told I would not be able to get a refund at all. I then proceeded to ask for a manager, which I was then put on hold for about 7 minutes and then I finally hung up. I then called back and talked with a superisingly nice man and he told me that I could get all my money back, but I couldn't yet because my information was not entered into the system. So, I finally called back today. I of course was on hold for ever but got through. I was transfered to customer care rep which told me that I could get a $200 refund and then once I recieved a packet in the mail and found something that I felt I didn't aggree with I could then get the remaining money back! I basically, told her I wanted it all back and told her if I didn't get all of money back my credit card company would be in contact with them. She immediatley put me on hold and came back about a minute later and told me that all the money would be put back on my card in 7 to 10 days. I then procedded to ask her why and she told me that she talked to the accounting department and that was fine. So, my suggestion threaten to call the credit card company and then do. It sounded like they don't like dealing with them. Good luck to you all and lets hope we don't fall for another stupid scam!!
