Ramada Plaza Resort/Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines Scam 4161 NW 5th Street Plantation Florida

I too fell for this scam and stumbled upon this site research it after the fact. Luckily I had not received my package and next to no time pass. I immediately phoned them to cancel. They then started playing the game of transferring me from person to person, putting me on permanent hold and even hanging up on me. After over an hour and a half of playing this game I went ahead and called my credit card company and disputed the charges & drafted a letter to send to Imperial/Ramada. I then phoned them back one last time and informed them I was done playing their game. The charge has been disputed with the credit card company and they can either refund me themselves or take the additional charges from the charge back.

At this point in time they started offering all sorts of credits I of course refused and after being put on hold yet again they came back saying I would be giving a full refund and was given a confirmation number. Over the course of the 2 hours on the phone with them I spent a total of an hour and 40 minutes on hold.

What to do to get your refund
Be persistent Florida law states that you have 30 days to cancel the transaction. Be proactive Contact your credit card company dispute the charge, keep records of everything Know Your Rights!.

Follow Up Send a registered letter to the company stating that you want a refund even if they said on the phone that you will be receiving one.
