Where to start....Ramada Plaza Resorts, aka National Travel Services, aka Pinnacle what ever, is by far the biggest Farse in the travel industry. As Rhonda stated in her comment, the consumer is told of this so called wonderful vacation in a lengthy phone conversation, but what you are failing miserably in, Rhonda, is to let everyone here know the half truths, the gray areas that these innocent people are told. Define minutes to the beach for instance, if i recall they used to claim to be minutes to the beach. Only when asked, were these people told that they were 10 or 15 mins, now you and I both know that there is no way that you are getting to the beach from 441 and Commercial, which by the way is in a poor area (across the street from a Mega Sex emporium, liquor stores, and a trailer park), in that short period of time, you are looking at more like a half an hour? and what if you want to go to Fort lauderdale Beach, you know where the bars and restaurants are? that is another 10 mins. I will give you the fact that the hotel was remodeled (although not recently as you claim) about 6 or 7 years ago. On to the ship, as a former employee I had the misfortune of representing the company at Port Everglades, several timeshare resorts, and with in-house visitors, and although you are again correct in saying that the ship does have suites and other upgraded type cabins, please tell us why these are not reserved for the guests? If I recall, the presedential suite is off limits to the public and the other "top deck" suites are sold at the port to walk ons, which by the way pay about 149 per person to get on and another 100 if they upgrade to it.


Please tell us about that nice swiming pool which might be 10 ft by 10 ft? Does that sound about right Rhonda? Please tell thse poor folks that there is one elevator for four people on the entire ship and there are 8 floors they must go up and down. God I hope they tore that carpet out cause it did smell a bit moldy, right Rhonda? Lets go to Orlando next, the flag ship of the Ramada Plaza Resorts empire, can we tell them about the shooting that happened at the front counter which ended the life of the front desk girl, I believe it was her estranged boyfriend, right Rhonda? How about that nice busy 3 or 4 lane highway that it sits off of? Would you say that it is also minutes away to Disney? about 40 right? maybe 20 to universal. How about that nice car you get Rhonda? is it still a sub-compact? Geo Metro when I worked there, what is it now a Yaris?


So yes Rhonda, people are told all of these wonderful things, but lets be honest, Joe Crook calls you at 7 pm when you have just finished having dinner, keeps you on the phone for well over an hour, you just know that its a vacation and that you deserve one, the price sounds good and you give them your card, Its that simple. Do you listen to every thing this rat tells you? unfortunatelly most of us don't deal with those low lifes on a daily basis and they sound like they are nice people, so we are caught off guard, right Rhonda? I can't say that your "rebuttle" above surprises me, because if you are the Rhonda G that I know, HR Director at corporate, you are as bad as the rest of that scum that sells dreams for a living to people that are just getting by and looking for a way to save a few bucks by buying a cheap vacation. God I hope you get what you deserve.
For you folks that want to get your money back, its very simple, threaten and follow through with going to the local media, your state attorneys office and certainly dispute the charge with your credit card if you are within 60 days.

And since it's such a GREAT VACAY, why havent you taken your family on it?? AND i have been on imperial majesty cruise line...it was fine and i had A BLAST!!!! but first of all, everytime you give away a free cruise, you actually get in trouble because 'you work for Ramada Plaza not Imperial Majesty' 'follow the script! its made for a reason! they can't say no!' ugh its horrible! and no you guys do NOT offer balcony rooms only 'ocean view' ---ocean view! you can see the ocean through a frosted glass about the size of your hand!! not from a balcony though! thats why i quit....they make you 'beat around the bush' you're answers are SO vague, these people have no idea! yes you def. take advantage of people, if you didnt, I'd still have that job! TO's whispering behind me 'Tell her to go to her purse and take out her credit card' before i even get to the vacation! ring a lingin bells BECAUSE THEY are getting commision...not sending people on a great vacation. In training 'If they dont have a credit card in their name when you offer the cruise, dont even go into the extended stay, get rid of them' THATS AN A+ in CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT THERE! SAD...VERY SAD! HAVE FUN!

I'm incompitent? I worked at the Boca Raton office, not the ghettos of Oakland park first of all. I did not get fired either, they won't fire anyone until you're 'caught' by quality assurance which btw are the people who applied and just couldnt read. so there job is to sit and listen! WOO! So no, i def. quit...just like about 100 other people the whole month I was there selling my soul to the devil. And btw, the TO's lie more that the reps. And the rental is a Geo Metro...lets GOOGLE that. Defend Ramada all you want...and NO HELL NO i havent stayed at a ramada plaza...i have stayed in ramada inn's A LOT...just driving by the plaza resort in ft. lauderdale makes me laugh! hahah drug deals on every corner! You definately should have never been hired for our company. My guess is you
were terminated for incompetence. We are not owned by Pinnacle Force, but
Ramada Plaza Resorts. That proves to me right there, you have no clue what
your talking about. We never make people buy our vacation packages. An
example of this: Each vacationer is audio taped, which means an audio receipt
is produced for them. The purpose for this, is because they are not present to
sign for it. During the audio receipt, each traveler is informed of the contents
AGAIN, for which they are receiving, charges, taxes, etc. The total is given to
them, at that point, they are asked whether they ACCEPT, the charges. We
wait for a response, before we continue. They know exactly what they
purchased, as it is gone over in full detail. So, no one is being forced to purchase
something they don't want. They are adults, and can intelligently make that
decision for themselves. If they are coming a long distance for their cruise, this
package makes more sense, but they don't have to purchase one. You have told
the general public here, that you thought this was a good deal, saving them I
might add, alot of money. Our Ramada resort in Ft. Lauderdale has been totally
remodeled new, and is gorgeous!!! So, in closing our cruise ship has Balconies,
Suites, Verandas, Admiral Suites. You might want to take a tour sometime, so
that you have your information accurate before you try to bash a company !!
