Ramada Vacations claimed I won a vacation cruise in the Bahamas and Florida. And some additional freebie vacations! A gentlemen (George Kootz???) contacted me from Toronto, mentioned I entered a contest at Vancouver food\trade fair (Eat Vancouver)and was lucky winner of 11 day vacation. He was insistant, fast talkiing, wanted credit card number to reserve etc..

I did what investigation I could, firstly, Ramada Vacations didn't have a kiosk\booth at Eat Vancouver. Then I called what Ramada numbers I could assemble.. Ramada does have featured vacations, but giving personal info over the phone is a no-no.

After some thought and web-consultation, I happend across many "Ramada Vacation Scam" sites.

Be aware! Sounds too good to be true..
