I initially consulted with the owner Stephen Ramsey about purchasing a car.  He directed me to one on the internet which I purchased and had shipped to his shop. He assured me that they do impeccable work and judging from the shiny cars sitting around it appeared that they did in fact have some nice looking vehicles.  My experience is one that what I requested and what I actually received was not even close to what I paid for.

Fact:  They had the car over two months before they even looked at it to get an idea of the repairs that were needed.

Fact:  When the car was delivered the transport company could not unload the car because an air bag on the suspension was ruptured.  It was unloaded with the use of jacks and other methods.  This was not the shops fault nor mine. It was the transport company's.  That is not an issue germain to this report.

Fact:  When the car was finally unloaded the supervisor Kelly, said "We don't know anything about air bag systems and you should change it out".  I felt as though I didn't have an option so it was decided to change it to a conventional system.  After two months and they said they would work on it Kelly told me that I had to order the shocks and find some springs.  As it turned out a new employee had a set of springs that he would trade out to me and they would cut the springs to lower the ride height.  When I had another shop look at their work they indicated that the springs were incorrectly installed and were not fastened correctly.  It could have posed a safety issue.  I have paid the new shop to reinstall the springs correctly. Kelly had denied or ignored the issue.

Fact:  They replaced the front lower ball joints.  Upon inspection the upper ball joints were cracked but were not replaced.  Have the front end disassembled why would not change out both sets?  This shop will not order parts, they want you to find and order the parts.  I purchased the ball joints from O'Reilly Auto parts and the first set were mis labeled.  I returned them the same day and drove the replacements over the next day.  Kelly didn't install them for a week and then he blamed me for the wrong parts that caused the delay.  Not true, the correct parts were ordered however the parts in the first orders boxes were wrong.  That was the suppliers mistake.  I find it strange that a repair facility refuses to pick up the phone and order a common part from a local auto parts store.

Fact:  The shop charged me for "test driving" it 61 miles.  Unless they added fuel, which they didn't charge me for, they didn't drive it because it was so low on fuel that I had to put some in it before I left the shop when I picked it up.

Fact:  I requested that all fluids be changed.  They did not fill change any fluids.

Here are the charges:

Labor 75.24 hrs ($5643.00)
Administrative hours 6 ($150.00)
Misc Parts $221.15
Fuel Charges $40.74
Mileage Charge $76.24

They removed the air ride system and installed shocks and springs
Replaced lower control arm bushings and ball joints
Adjusted exhaust to clear frame
Inspect brakes
Adjust emergency brake
Check fluids

A grand total of $6256.14 was paid to them for a job poorly done.

In hindsight there is not question that I should have said I will have it picked up and taken somewhere else when Kelly said he didn't know anything about air ride systems.  Also, my opinion is that this shop does not have a person that can schedule and manage workflow.  To have a vehicle sit for two months without even looking at it is unacceptable and only when I told them I was taking somewhere else did they "fit" me in.  I feel they did a job haphazardly which had to be redone and overcharged me.

Bottom line is that I would not recommend this shop for quality work done in a reasonable amount of time.  Yes they have some high end cars in the shop but I would be interested to know if they are driven by the owners or if they just sit in a garage and are something to look at.
