Ranger Boats - Ranger Bass Boats - Jerry Whittle Boats - Genmar Ranger People Lied and Would not Tell the Truth FLIPPIN Arkansas

I know quite a bit about Bass Boats, as I have owned 7 others and fish regularly. I could clearly tell the man was lieing and making statements and promises that were clearly false! They covered ever aspect of the boat and purchase, from performance and fuel consumption, to warranty and construction.

When we discussed warranty and warranty procedures, I was told Ranger was tops in handling warranty. They stated Ranger would fix any problem, and all parts and electronics were covered. I knew this was False and a Lie.

I then ask about Rangers track record on warranty and warranty complaints. I was told Ranger has NEVER had a warranty or consumer complaint. I then calmly asked about the Billboards and Handbills I had seen along with 100's of my Friends.

Within seconds the man turned Red with Anger, and became completely irate and defensive, and commenced to spewing profanity. He claim the handbills and Billboards are distributed by a rival boat co, in an attempt to compete for sales. After I explained I had known several people who had spoken to the private Individual distributing the handbills and I knew it WAS NOT ANOTHER CO. Another dealer personnel became involved then, stating he worked for RANGER itself. The "REP" also stated that Ranger had Never had a consumer complaint, and stated the protest is from LEGEND BOATS, OWNER.

Now I know this is a LIE. For I have immediate family members who have spoken to one of the persons protesting ranger for 20yrs or so. They said the protest was completely credible and warned me from buying a Ranger Boat. I dismissed such warnings, and went to see about a Ranger purchase. That is when this ordeal took place.

Now the response and attitude I got after a very calm and causal inquiry about the negative publicity was shocking to say the least. To have Ranger Boats Salesman stand directly in front of me and Intentionally Lie, about something like that worried me to the point I will not purchase a Ranger Boat ever!

I assumed it was a disgruntled customer, ever co. has some, and would have dismissed it entirely if not for the reaction and lies that followed.

I firmly believe the Billboards and Handbills now. Its is evident that Ranger and its Salesman are covering up something, and are failing so badly at it that it infuriates them to a point that scared me off from buying a Ranger Boat.

The fact the protest exists and has never been dealt with, to the point of dealer frustration, gives me great pause. To know any issue of that customer, could have been handled for less than the profit from my single purchase, but instead Ranger resorted to a campaign of Lies and Deceit. That tells me, along with all I have corresponded with about the issue, that there are Very Serious issues with Ranger Boats and it's management personnel. Serious enough that I will never trust them with my monies, nor and parent co. they have. Forrest Wood should be ashamed.

I post this because of my personal encounter, and warn all preparing to purchase a Ranger Boat. There is something seriously wrong with that company! Anyone who Lies and cover ups actions like that cannot be trusted. It is a Very serious concern that the original issue in questions is still ongoing. I will not chance being put in the same situation with a company like Ranger that cannot be trusted.

I PERSONALLY ADVISE YOU TAKE THE ADVICE OF THE BILLBOARDS AND HANDBILLS. RANGER AND ITS PERSONNEL DO LIE AND CANNOT BE TRUSTED!
