Just an FYI. This is exactly like Alyon where an autodialer/worm/virus and several changes to your registry are downloaded without your knowledge.
After updating my virus software and rebooting my computer, a warning came up that RapidBlaster (aka RB32.exe) was attempting to dial out. Of course, I prevented it from dialing and did some research.
It is a program just like Alyon that is a porn dialer and supports internet sex sites. On a search of my computer, it supposedly was located in my program files in its own folder yet it is nowhere to be found in my programs. I then went into my "internet options" and it is not listed in the connection settings either. I then went into my registry editor (not recommended unless you are comouter savvy) and found 5 different Rapid Blaster files.
I have a spyware program that will detect and remove hidden spy programs and after running that, it found 18 suspicious Rapid Blaster folders which I removed. I tried to "uninstall" the Rapid Blaster program from "Add/Remove Programs" but that causes an error message and my computer to freeze. Funny how it is in the Add/Remove Programs, yet is almost impossible to locate when looking for it. So, I went into the regedit and deleted all files/associations to Rapid Blaster.
After I was satisfied that it was removed, I continued to research what exactly it was. I found the "privacy/agreement statement" at
This tells you all you need to know in techie language about what it does. The naked girl at the top of the page showed me what industry this is!
According to the file on my computer, it had been installed in January yet this is the first time I have ever had a warning message or that it was found by the spyware program. I don't know if this is old news or a new take on the Alyon scam. Just thought I'd pass it along.
