Rapid Tax & Financial Sevices Ripoff delayed tax filing, refused to admit there was a problem Woodside New York

I filed at a website called rapidtax.com, one day late for my Arizona Tax Return to be E-filed. I waited a week to check the website to see if it had been filed and I was told it was still "In Progress. After having sent 2 emails to this company I had to look up there phone number off of my credit card statement. I was also charged nearly $35 for this service. I called the company to complain, and was bounced around quite a few times. I explained my problem to "Dan" who asked me to hold while he checked my return. He then told me that his company is not permitted to E-file with the state of Arizona. I asked him if this means I will be receiving a refund of the fee and he completely dodged the question.

He said his company had sent me an email in the past which I did not receive. When I told him I had not received this email he said he would send it again. Well surprisingly this time I received. In the email was a copy of a partially filled out Arizona Tax form 140 which was shown prepared on 4/26/2006. If this had been sent to me earlier like he claimed the preparation date would have been earlier.

I called the Arizona Dept of Revenue to report this and I was told they did not have any agreement with this company to file with our state. I am being sent new forms to fill in and mail myself. The operator agreed with me that this sounded like fraud but was unable to point me in the right direction. If anyone has any advice on how to proceed with this I would appreciate the help.
