Beginning of Feb 2010 I ordered a Video Camera to the value of $ 2818,-- and transfered
this amount to the account of DVstage at Liberty Reserve.
On Feb. 22nd I was advised by email that my order had been shipped.
The invoice from Raven Electronics stated that the parcel would be delivered to the
FedEx office in Port Elizabeth/South Africa for me to collect there. When FedEx could not trace such a consignment I requested DVstage to supply a tracking number.
They did not reply. I have since sent 6 e-mails with the request for a tracking number but do not receive any response from DVStage/Raven Electronics whatsoever.
It would appear that the camera was never shipped. Can anybody give me some advice of how to recover my money ?
Fraudsters like that bring the USA AND THE INTERNET BUSINESS as a whole into disrepute and should be proscecuted.
