I spent $1,400.00 to have my horses trained by Ray Ainsworth. He was to keep them 1 month. Work two weeks with them then two weeks with me and them together. After 2 months he worked with me and one of my horses 3 times, he never worked with me and the other horse. I made many visits to his barn to see my horses and he was not there and had not worked my horses. He told me that he would be working my horses 2 times a day. I never saw any sign of them being worked except the 3 times he spent showing me the right way to lunge....my horses had been doing that, and then once I got on one of my horses and walked. He did not spend two weeks working my horses 2 times a day like he told me he would and he did not work with me and my horses for two weeks.
He talked a lot about what he could do and showed how his horse did but I never saw him ride one of my horses and the other I saw him get on one time.
This was a waste of money and time. I would never send anyone to this man.

Her horse DID try to climb out of the round pen. I have seen the damage as her round pen was brand new!
So she called Ray. She told him what had happened and she was bringing her horses back. He began to explain what an awful couple of weeks he had had and how tired he was. So she asked should she just meet him at the barn. He wasn't gonna be there, he said. When she asked what about my horses, he replied...
and I quote "I really don't care".
A few days ago she called him to find out why he had not responded to the certified letter she'd sent. He never got a letter, he said. The next day she got a notice from the post office. The letter had been delivered and REFUSED on three seperate occassions.
Why would anyone refuse a certified letter unless they are hiding from someone or maybe they are just used to getting this type of correspondence. To me, this says a lot about one's character.
