Ray Renolds University OVERCHARGED MY BANK ACCOUNT .i ORDERED A $99.00 PROGRAM FROM TV AND THEY PUT ME ON A 400.00+ PROGRAM TEMPE Arizona

I ordered a program off TV for 3 payments of $33.33 and after they 2nd debit form my bank account of $58.40 one on 6/29/07 and another on 8/3/07 I called my bank and they told me that they could not do anything about it the only thing I could do is cancel my card and call the company. I did just that, I was told that the call center when I ordered put me on a $500.00 + program I told him I only authorized 3 payments of $33.00 which was what they were selling on the Infomercial. He said no problem just send it back and they would refund me or send me that $33.00 for 3 payment program, I sent the program back certified mail on Aug 2, 2007 and they received it on August 6th at 9.04 am the signers name was J. Smith.
I thought I would be refunded but they sent me to a collection agency for $400.00 + I told them I did not owe them any money they owed me money because I have returned that program, and he said they could not do anything about that they needed their money or my credit would be DESTROYED. Can they do this to me?
