RBMG extortion - like ripoff Columbia South Carolina

This is the second year in a row that RBMG has raised my monthly payment without explanation as to the charges. Last year, they upped my payment by almost $6000 a year. When I phoned year to get the money explained no one would answer my questions. I finally sent a letter threatening legal action if my questions were not explained and then someone finally spoke to me. However, there was a $1700 "miscellanous escrow disbursement" that RBMG described to me as money I had owed Market Street when my loan was sold. Upon calling Market Street, I was told that I owed them $600 at the time of sale and that they had over-paid RBMG and RBMG paid them back the $1100, but that it should never have had anything to do with me. I called RBMG with this information and they told me to fax the papers to them that said as much. Three times I faxed the information and three times they have "lost" the paperwork. To this day the issue remains unresolved.

This year, they have estimated my taxes way beyong what my taxing authority says they will be, has lowered my estimated taxes for next year, and has upped my monthly payment by $140, a grand total of more than $1200 over the course of the year, again with no explanation as to the rise.

While I have to fight this one out with them, I warn everyone not in my boat to stay out of it. Avoid this company at all costs, they're as crooked as a $3 bill.
