My Husband and I have an RC Willey Credit Card and one month when I was paying my bill I actidenally payed a dollar less than what i was supposed to (76.00 instead of 77.00) I realized that same day and call Customer Service to tell them they said that I didn't need to worry about it. They would take care of it! Well, I found out shortly after that they never removed the dollar and it went in there system as a deliquint payment and they reported me for 3 months to the credit bureaus (November, December, January).
To top it off Just this febuary i made a payment to RC Willey on the 20th for 85.00 (just to be safe) my bill isn't due till the 25th of the month. well they reported us to the credit bureaus the fourth month (febuary) because they said I didn't make the payment! I Faxed them a copy of the check that had their bank stamp on the back (prooving they deposited it). This whole time they treated me with disrespect and I am still trying to get this cleared up because they wont admit fault! I have left several messages with a Mary in the credit department and the V.P. of Credit Mike Boswell. I have still not recieved any calls back! Another lady further down the Chain at RC Willey helped me alot and told me she knows that they are trying to cover up discrepencys in there department and for her sake i am going to leave her name out of this report!
My husband and I got our Attorney to write them some letters and get this fixed! still no response, they really don't take me seriously. RC Willey has no idea what Customer Service is all about! My husband and I are in the prossess of getting a loan for a new home or Credit was perfect before RC Willey did this to us we have to close April 4th and my Attorney tells me this can take awhile! Our Credit Score dropped over 90 points I am shocked! I will never shop RC Willey again and I will make sure everyone knows about the scams they pull!
I bet you never thought buying Furniture would literally ruin your life!!!

Alright, I didn't have a collections experience, but I did attempt to call them several times over the course of many days and never received a response. I had to go through many different people before one of them followed through and gave me a call. So, it is very possible that his happened. There are bad employees every business that ignore company policies and procedures. Some customers fall through the cracks and to make a blanket statement that it doesn't happen seems naive.

I'm sorry that you feel you've had a bad experience with RC Willey Home Furnishings. However, they do not ignore your phone calls or even refuse to call you back. I work in the department that handles all of those calls and MORE! Whenever we've had a customer in collections regardless of the reason we have forwarded to call to the correct individual for you and we MAKE SURE that they are available for you to speak with. RC Willey is dedicated to good customer service. I worked there for a very long time and my husband is still employed there. I am sorry to hear about your experience but I truly feel that you did not tell the whole truth in your statement. I hope that your remarks have not poisoned future customers because RC Willey really is a great place to shop and be a part of.
And by the way...we never send anyone to collections for 1 dollar and that is a fact. We would rather completely wave the 1 2 3 or even 15 dollars for you then send you to collections for such a petty amount. That is just totally untrue.
