We recently spent a lot of money in RC Willey buying several items for our new home. Our complete Viking commercial kitchen was purchased through RC Willey's. Upon needing a new water filter I contacted Viking and asked where to purchase one. They told me to revisit my retailer who had sold me the appliances. They also stated that they do not direct ship from Viking to consumers. Not a problem I went to RC Willey's thinking this was an in and out situation. WRONG!! After 20 minutes the appliance salesman said there is no knock off brand that will fit my fridge and I would have to contact the manufacture. I asked him if he didn't understand what I was telling him that the manufacturer was the one who sent me in here. He then said that I should try a competitor down the street. He even gave me all their information. I told him great that this was the last time I would buy from them if this is how they treat a sale after the fact. I then proceeded to walk out of the department when I turned around to grab one of my kid's hands and she was watching the man and his co-associate flipping me off. But oh the best is yet to come. I was in shock. I then asked for the manager and explained the situation. His response was I just can't believe so and so would do that. I'm sorry I saw it with my own eyes and so did my daughter. Not an apology nothing from this manager, sales person, or the store. It was like I was standing there lying to him. SO my warnings to anyone doing business with RC WILLEY don't ever turn your back. PS their competitor was supper helpful and had the filers shipped direct to my house so I wouldn't have to drive back to their store and just have to call next time I need them. So use anyone else but them.

Another rc willey bad customer service

There's no excuse...

Regardless of your emotions or attitude when you spoke with the salesperson, the best companies have employees trained to not let their emotions dictate their actions, as was obviously the case at your RC Willey store. A professional shouldn't be flipping you off, no matter the reason. Today I experienced some of the worst customer service from any store I've ever shopped at RC Willey (Riverdale, UT). The manager actually laughed at my comments when I was telling them my complaint! Good work RC Willey!

Blame yourself.

'I asked him if he didn't understand what I was telling him...'

Right here you are looking for a fight, and that was probably not everything you said, as it seemed to get around the store pretty fast.

Try to keep your emotions under control, to avoid this situation in the future.

I am quite sure many people get flipped off when leaving a store, just on 'general principles', whatever they are.
