RCA And Thomson RCA Products Warranty RIP-OFF!! Socorro Texas

I cannot believe what RCA Electronics (Thomson) does to it's customers... First of all their products are aweful. After purchasing a DVD player, it soon began malfunctioning. The RCA warranty is for a year, so I sent the unit in... only to discover that the parent comapny, Thomson, chanrges $35 for any repairs and/or $50 for any priducts replacements!!! The warranty says absolutely nothing about additional charges to in order for the warranty to be honored! Thomson intentionally does not mention this, be=cause a certain number/percentage of customers will pay their backmail/hostage fees in order to replace there already crappy products.

RCA/Thomson is clearly misleading and ripping-off it's customers! Why even have a warranty if you have to pay to buy a replacement unit?

BE SURE TO REJECT THEIR REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AND INSIST THAT THOMSON RETURN YOUR UNIT -- The one thing Thomson must comply with is that they HAVE TO RETUYRN YOUR ITEM AT THEIR COST!!! THEN GO OUT AND PURCHASE ANOTHER BRNAD THAT WILL STAND BEHIND THEIR WARRANTY!!!f

RCA is the most unscrupulous, unethical bunch of ding-dongs I have ever encountered! And RCA should be ashamed of itself for providing such low customer service (no customer service!).
