R.C.C. Propert Management, "Hunters Landing" Lol Shady Dealings Marysville California

This really pissed me off about this company.
My fiance and I have lived at this particular complex("Hunters Landing" lol) for about 6 months.We have been good tenants.Not broken any rules and always payed our rent in full and on time.

WELL...
We deposited our rent check(out of my account,not my fiance's)and I waited for it to come out....10 days pass,and I'm checking my account daily online and nothing has been taken out and that check has never come out.Finally,I'm getting suspicious,so I call the office manager "Ms.D" and ask if everything's ok. She gets all snippy with me and tells me that my check has bounced. (BOUNCED!! WTF? I had $675 in my account at that EXACT moment,which would've covered our rent b/c our rent was $625).I let her know that information,and then she admitted she only ran our check through once,and gave up after that.WTF? I ask her why wasn't I or my finace informed of this when it first happend? She didn't have a reply to that. All she told us was that the management company (R.C.C. Management) should have sent us something in the mail regarding our rent and the check being bounced.

So,frantically,I run home and check the mail.NOTHING,
NADA,
ZIP.I call back and let "Ms.D" know THAT little tidbit. All she can do is hem and haw and say "Welllll...you guys SHOULD have been notified..." Well,fact is,we weren't.So then we had to pay our regular rent fee of $625,PLUS $65 in late charges(that wouldn't have been $65 if they had let us know in a timely manner,like any respectful and professional human being out in the job market today) and finally,a $25 bounced check fee.So,in all we paid $715...needlessly! That's $90 more than we should have payed!! This all just seems a bit shady to me,like they're trying to rack up fees by screwing around with their trusting tenents money.Well,NO MORE FROM ME!

After that,my fiance and I use only money orders,and when our lease is up later on this year,i can't WAIT to get out of this place and move to a complex where the management acts in a professional and above-board manner.
