Carlos Machado president of Rcj Machado approached me and my fellow training partners in Bjj behind our instructors back. He intentionally wanted to steal students to gain money for himself. His ploy or game is Pay me 250 a month and ill promote you as one of my direct belts ..pay an extra 500 and you can attend my personal seminars. As an instructor his whole game is to steal students from your academy. So if you have 100 students if he can he will steal them all promising them a rank under him for 200 to 250 a month.
sadly he has done this to numerous black belt bjj academies. my instructor in washington Carlos Machado kept charging him a bank draft of 250 after stealing his students with the above proposition. rcj machado billed him over 4000 dollars and then called a credit collection agency on him after destroying his student base and also defaming his name. in all honesty carlos is a heavey weed smoker just like thier prize student eddie bravo. im sure you will catch a wiff of it when you train at his academy in which you will learn nothing new.

I have known Carlos Machado for almost 9 years. First of all, he does not drink, much less do drugs. Eddie Bravo is under JJ Machado in California and branched out to make 10th planet (that's not even Carlos). Our kids hang out, he spends time with us in Louisiana a few times a year. We have had several meals together and he never even had a drink. I would have bought him a drink! I am blessed to know Carlos and his family, they are incredible people. If you affiliate with him and did not like it then you would simply stop your credit card. I know no one lets you draft $4000 from an account over 16 months of unwanted charges. $250x16= $4000. You have either been misinformed or you are spreading misinformation yourself. Either way, this is ridiculous. Lies become the truth if good people don't stand up and stop them. Carlos and his family are the nicest and most genuine people. Why you would slander good people is beyond me. Congrats, I guess this is the modern way to get at good people. Well, if you are lucky enough to train with any of the Machado family you are in good hands.
Btw, after 9 years you can't hide any of this stuff and I would not be defending someone if they did. This is just false and pointed at the wrong person for sure!

Hi my name is Carlos Machado. I own RCJ Machado Jiu-Jitsu in Farmers Branch and am 1 of the three Machado brothers that make up RCJ Machado Association. I have been involved in and teaching the martial arts for almost 50 years and have been an upstanding citizen and community leader here in Dallas for 25 years.
I have to say this accusation is completely absurd. We have affiliates all over the world that can vouch for our/my character and business ethics. I also have several hundred students in my academy that can vouch that I do not do any drugs or even drink alcohol. I have stellar reviews about myself and my academy on several online reviews sites. I am not sure what else to say about these accusations other than they are false.
