Rd Group International, Richard Bastasich Ripoff, hiding behind name change, no to refund of dollars Toronto Ontario

I really appreciate the posting, repeated searches for info on this company were useless until I came upon this page. I received a call from them to come in for an interview at 9am the next day. That night I found your report and I'll tell you...good thing I did!

Anyway, I decided to go ahead with the interview the next morning. When I got there, they made me wait in the lobby till 9:30am. I finally got fed up and got up to leave at which point the receptionist contacted Dale Smith to come get me. When I asked if they were a recruiting agency, he told me he 'did not know how to answer'. He reviewed my resume, asked how much I was making etc. It just got better and better from there. He then asked me what I was looking for work wise. I indicated that I was interested in supply chain or pharmaceutical.

He then told me that RD Group Int'l had placed many people with these types of companies. When I asked him who with specifically he became very vague. He said he had a list in his drawer but that the information was confidential.

I told him to give me some names as I worked with many supply chain companies. I also told him to take his time.

After about a minutes he said that he could not find any and that he was going to show me the list but it was against the rules. I reviewed the list and basically it was just a listing of positions vs. companies. Nothing you could not get from Monster or Workopolis. I asked him who owned the company and he said that he did as well as another partner. He however would not divuldge who the other partner was...

Anyway, the icing on the cake was when he asked me my wife's name and requested that I have her come in for the next interview as the 'job seeking process was one that needed to be done together'.

He then told me that at that point he would discuss fees as RD International "works for you and not for the companies". More bull!!! I told him that I was still employed and was in no rush to find new work. He told me he would call and set up a second interview. He then handed me a business card which was evidently printed on a low end ink jet printer and the card was cut by hand.

The sad part is that these guys are praying on people who are looking for work and who probably have no money!

Finally, I received another call from them today asking me if I could come in for an interview next week. CAN YOU BELIEVE that they didn't even realize that I had already been in!
All I can say is STAY AWAY...this one really stinks!
