Mrs. Olivia Bradshaw sent me a check for $5,400 drawn on H.I.L. Technology, Inc., 94 Hutchins Drive, Portland, ME 04102 bank at Peoples Heritage Savings Bank, 223 US Rte 1, Falmouth, ME 04105 and letter saying I was the winner of the Pepsi Cola one Million Dollar Giveaway in sponsorship with Readers Digest. The letter said that the certified check was to cover any outstanding fees that have not been paid by Pepsi Co directly. I was asked to call her before depositing the check and to keep my Prize Claim Number confidential by U.S. Federal law. I tried to call and the answering machine came on and I left numerous messages. I then found the phone number of H.I.L. Technology and asked what was going on and they told me they had a lot of calls from California for the same reason and that the account was old and had been closed for several years.

If I am the only one interested in pursuing a court case then I would appreciate knowing that so I can find an attorney here but if you are going to pursue for others please let me know so that my name can be added to your list.

Re "Olivia Bradshaw scam"

AUTHOR: Lane - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, December 01, 2009

Thank you, Donna, for sharing your scam experience.  The time you took to relay the details just saved my friend a lot of time, and will most-likely help others.  He just received the same letter from Olivia Bradshaw, but the enclosed check was for $5,162.  When I searched the net for the key words in the letter, this was the first link that appeared.  Most folks would assume letters like these are scams, but there are others such as the elderly or challenged, or those who don't have computers, or live in rural parts of the country where these kind of things aren't worth publicizing... or folks like us who out of curiosity tap in some key words and warn others that it's nonsense, to help put a stop to it before others are inconvenienced.  As for TruthSayer, you're an idiot and just wasted my time.  You need to crawl out of your sarcasm and low self esteem that causes you bring yourself up by ripping on others.  No one needs to crawl out of their hole and wise up more than you.

Do you think attorneys just hang around bulletin boards such as this waiting on some idiot who needs them ????? Geeeezzzz Crawl out of wherever you have been living for the past 10 years that this scam has been going on and do some research. And most of all - WISE UP !!!!!!!
