reader's digest red oak iowa Strikes Again! Internet

Pretending to be Reader's Digest - Claims I submitted a gift subscription and owe them for it.

I called Reader's Digest using the phone number from their magazine.  A sweet lady told me that the subscription was cancelled.  I went online and checked.  It was cancelled.

Surprise! two weeks later another bill shows up.  Very frustrating! 

I do a web search and find RD - Red Oak Iowa on your list!  from a 2004 complaint!    

The bill was signed by "Sharon Melody, Billing Manager".

This scam must be making them quite rich....will they ever be caught and stopped? 

I absolutely know for sure that I did not extend my subscription and/or ask for a gift subscription.
