Reanne Huskins Crider Jordan Johnson conned into taking over payments when they were behind 3 weeks Fairmount Ga Georgia

My husbands work truck lost all brakes on the 6th( only way he had to go back and forth. My adult daughter went to facebook and decided she would try to post in yard sale sites to see if anyone saling their vehicle would take payments. cause lets face it trying to cone up with $1300-$1500 to fix our truck right now is impossible and my husband needed a vehicle to get back and forth. Reanne decided to message my daughter and let her know she Had a 2005 Grand Cherokee Jeep Lerado that was hers and that we could take over the payments of $105 a week. she proceeded to then state that we could sign a 3rd part autherization form so once the car was paid for that the dealership( Carmart of Rome Ga) would put the title in our name and her name would not be anywhere on it. we communitlcated with her all the way up from September 8th until September 13th which was the following Thursday.

Thursday September 13th was when i messaged her asking what time we could pick the vehicle up. of course now we have to go through Jordan Johnson because she had unexpected plans and had to go to aragon that we needed to talk to him, i sent her a photo of the vehicle with full coverage also that afternoon just to ease her mind cause i would never rip someone off. And then it went from any time during the day Thursday to after 8pm when he got home. so we leave from Cedartown Ga at ten minutes til seven in the afternoon. Get there at 7:58pm. Jordan Johnson was the ONLY one there with her two children and stated right then that the vehicle was in his name and that it was $105 a week and the payment was due every Saturday. As soon as we get in, we noticed the speedometer doesnt work. We leave put $20 in gas, $1.50 for air in the back tire, drove an hour and two minutes to Cedartown Ga to a car wawh spent $15 to qash the nasty stuff off of it and come home.

My husband goes to work Friday September 14th, gets off and I message Reanne to aak her what time they were meeting us to sign the 3rd party authurization form cause after all we were still under the impression that third party was allowing our name on the contract, making payments, and at the end of the payments title would be handed to us. Neither could meet us and apparently now its not neccessary to sign the form. So I take it apon myself and call CarMart in Rome Ga and Tristen, an employee there, notified me twlling me 3rd party is to make changes to the account that the loan was in Jordan Johnsons name and no matter who paid it the loan name would not change and the title would be mailed to them. I asked Tristen was there not anything they could give us, handwritten or printed stating my husband paid it and she said no.so I then asked her once the reciept was printed out could my husband write his name on the paper and her sign it and she said she could notate in her computer that my husband paid it. My husband then messqged him through facebook messenger to tell him we got it worked out and everything was fine. We get to CarMart, my husband goes in and low and behold there sits Tristen. My husband lets her know that we are there to pay on the vehicle that we were taken over that was Jordan Johnsons. A man who was bold on top, had a little hair on the sides comes from the back had a pair of reading glasses in his shirt, looks at Tristen and tells her to tell my husband what Jordan Johnson owed it was okay since we were taken over the payments. Tristen told my hisband 499 from four weeks he was behind plus late fees and had been trying to call him for a month to get a payment from him. And that if we saw him to let him know they need him to call. My husband did not pay the payment of $105. My husband messaged Jordan Johnson and told him we were not paying his bill because we didnt drive it a month ago and we got the vehicle last noght and the agreement was to start making payments this Saturday. Jordan Johnson then demanded us to bring his Jeep back and thats when I told him on my husbqnds phone no i wasnt bringing it back and I was calling the cops.

Cops came and then i was told that text messages would not hold up in court and that i could go to jail so my best bet was to go from rome to cedartown get someone to follow us and drive all the way back to fairmount. We contacted Fairmount police department to follow us to return the vehicle and we left.
