I am a disabled vet and needed to get a shower installed in my home. This salesman came and gave me a price of $6500 which I thought was high but I needed it done. I found out latter that I could the very same thing for half. I called this company and told them I was canceling my contract after they insisted that I pay half down. This man that answered the phone said they couldnt do it and I could choose not to have it installed if I wished but I wasnt getting my money back.
They installed it. I went the next day to use it and the bottom was so slick that I couldnt stand up. I called and complianed and the same man said that was the way they are made and they couldnt/wouldnt do anything about it.
I could almost cry. I cant believe these people are so heart less to overchange an old man who is sick and then give him something he cant use. If there is a God and I know there is then these people will have to answer to him.

My son-in-law saw this on the internet about your problem and called me.
I am sorry to hear that you might have been overcharged and that you dont have a product that is not useful to you. Ken Baker, the owner of Rebath DFW, is right that I closed my company in August. It appears that you live in Richardson which is in Rebath DFW exculsive area and the work was done recently. My company would have not been the one to install your shower.
You have something you can not use regardless of who installed it. It would appear that the application of a non-slip surface if there is not one already applied to your shower pan maybe the solution to the problem. The installation of additional grab bars might help. I have those products and will let you have them. If this works out for you give my son-in-law a reference, he owns a company similiar to Rebath call 972-294-5919 www.BathTimeRenovations.com. Like me, Mike puts the customer first.
I no longer have any association with Rebath but while I am at your home I can also look at your paperwork and see who you need to contact for future warranty work.

The person making this claim did business with Re-Bath of North Texas, not Re-Bath of DFW. Re-Bath of North Texas has recently gone out of business. Re-Bath of DFW is not and has never been affiliated with Re-Bath of North Texas. Re-Bath of DFW has never been contacted by the person making this claim. Re-Bath of DFW is a completely separate franchise. Re-Bath of North Texas was located in Carrollton, TX. Re-Bath of DFW is currently located in Carrollton, TX. This may have caused the customer some confusion. This is probably the reason why the customer filed the complaint with the wrong Re-Bath franchise.
