Hired a rent-a-car, on line, picked up/paid for by credit card at their desk in Malaga airport. The all-inclusive cost, per week, was stated as 92.97 euros. This included fully comprehensive insurance viz: Local taxes; Fully comp. insurance; Unlimited mileage; CDW, Total coverage for theft; Personal injury; Free additional driver.
The only extra was the cost of a tank of fuel. The contract states -Daily Rate = 13.28 euros & fuel 30 euros with a total payment of 154.69 euros. Contemplating this later, I checked the contract for the fuel cost and found this to be 30 euros. Returning the car, a week later, I queried the 'extra' but the onle reply I could understand was 'insurance for punctures & glass breakage. This I cannot accept.
I have emailed the company from home, several times, but get no response. Not a large amount involved but I believe other potential customers ought to be made aware. Whilst the advertised hire charges are cheaper than others, in reality they are more expensive.
