Red Carpet Car Wash Stolen Item From Car While Being Serviced Oklahoma City Oklahoma

I had my vehicle washed at Red Carpet Car Wash, Oklahoma City, OK on March, 29th, 2006 (a place which I had been going to weekly for ~1 year).

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of leaving my watch in my car. The watch was very sentimental and valuable and I left in hidden in a specific spot in the vehicle. No one, but myself and the Red Carpet Car Wash employees were in my car that day. I know I had the watch in the car and thoroughly checked the car afterwards to see if it had been moved/displaced (possibly) while cleaning.

The business has signs saying "not responsible to lost items." However, what was even more disconcerting then having my watch stolen was the manner in which I was treated when inquiring about the watch.

I was very polite, and simply said the watch was missing from my vehicle after the wash and I only asked if anyone had it, or found it. I left my phone number with the car wash manager and I was told I would be called later.

I had to call back twice later to see if the manager had spoken to the employees working that day or even looked for the watch. I also offered a reward for the watch. My calls were never returned and when I called the manager was very rude and brushed me off.

I think this represents poor customer service!
