While cruising to St. Kitts, I bought a diamond ring. I was lied to over and over in the store. I was told that they were an American based company (Alaska, yet I've had a hard time finding information on them) and that they would soon (within a month) be listed on the Cruise Port Shopping guide. I stupidly believed them.

I then went on to purchase a ring for $2800 that they appraised for $3695. I was promised multiple times that if the ring did not appraise for at least that amount in the States by an independent jewelry appraiser, I could sent the ring back via certified mail and receive a complete refund. I had the ring appraised and it only appraised for $2668 by an independent appraiser. When I sent all this information to the customer service representative, she refused to stand by the promises made in the store.

Even worse, she dragged out the email process and was away for 2 weeks, then tried to say that my 30 day window had passed, despite having first emailing the company 3 days after purchase. The company has not stood by there word and lied to me over and over. This type of company is going to continue to scam lots of people with there poor quality jewelry and bogus, made up appraisal reports.
