Regions Investment Inc. Second Category Sweepstake, Government Lottery Office Toronto, Ontario

I received a plain white envelope in the mail with my name and address typed on the front and no return address. In the official looking letter it informed me that I had won a lottery. It contained a contact number I was to call and the persons name was Henry Power. It also contained a check from Chevy Chase Bank for $4,975.00. It went on to say that I had won a lottery of $120,000.00 and the purpose for this check was to pay Canadian Non-Resident Government Service Tax (GST.) When I contacted the person he informed me that all I needed to do was deposit the check into my bank account and send him a cashiers check for the amount of the taxes. Thank God I was smart enough to do some investigating on the internet. It looked very suspicous to begin with. I am going to forward the letter and check to the attorney general.
