Registry Patrol - The Post Media Network scam Edmonton, Alberta

Add one more complaint to a growing list! Following a recommendation from Ask-A-Nerd I purchased the Registry Patrol touted to fix issues in my system. This is a complete rip-off. The program will put you into an endless loop attempting to acquire a non-existant registry key. You will be charged multiple fees of $39.95 if you attempt to find this key. Emails are apparently not reviewed and you will never get a response. There is no means of physical contact (phone, fax) unless you might live in Canada and wish to find this place from an address that I am not sure exists.

Do not fall for this scam! If the "Nerd" site is recommending this you are also jeopardizing your reputation. If not; you are being used to support a scam.
