REI has completely ripped us off . I rented one of the properties for 2years It was a two year contract. I had nothing but problems with the property leaking ceilings, flooded basements and MICE. Which i couldnt use the kitchen for the rest of my lease ( 6 Months) because they were in the cabinets. When i put in for a workorder because the house would always run out of hot water( some times the dishwasher wouldnt even break down the soap because of no hot water) they sent a plumber out to inquire about it and then told me it was because the water tank was 40gal which is to small for a 3000 sf house (pulmer told me) i had to pay for the bill when i refused to they threanted me telling me that there going to take it out my damage deposit which is against the law. My leasing agent was always so rude to me They are scam artist when you dont do what they want they threathen you. The lease is not a standard lease which makes the renter responsiable for everything even though the place was in disaray when you moved in. When i move out the MOVE OUT sheet is says in bold letters to have the carpents professionally cleaned so i did that spending $300 it wasnt cleaned to there satisfaction so there telling me the owners want to have it redone at my expense. Might i add this stuff is coming to me in a email days after my moveout inspection. When i signed off on the move out the only thing on there was a dirty light fixture in the entry way and missing keys which i expected to be charged for.

This company has so many complaints about taking peoples damage deposits for false reasons and i can see why now they tell you its ok and then they rack up a bunch of false stuff and just mail or email it to you. How can they do this and get away with it. the list goes on but there isnt enough space here to put in all they stuff there doing to me. I have 2 years worth of emails with pictures to this company and i have kept all of them because thay are dirty and will try anything. Think of you furture and do not rent from this company and if you a homeowner think twice about who you are using to represent you on your property.
