I actually signed up with another company called iLocal SEM who promised I would be on the first page for my business in a 50 mile radius within a week, but when I talked to the people at Relevant Ads, they explained what they really do and how their service works (for real).

As it turns out, iLocal used to be Reliable Listing and is now Your Local Merchant, all under the ownership of Russell Wallace. What was confusing was the name changed three times within 2 years. PLUS they weren't actually Relevant Ads but they just sold Relevant Ads service. Now Relevant Ads doesn't even let them sell their service anymore.

Mystery solved!

Relevant Ads actually did a good job and did get my business on the first page of Google and Yahoo for that matter, but I almost cancelled because of iLocal SEM's shady tactics. Very glad I didn't, but next time I do any business online, I'm doing my homework first.
