Reliance Standard Matrix Absence Management On 1/7/16 I was approved for LTD (which means I provided All required documents). I filed for Disability on 11/23/15. After receiving only two of $1623.10 per month, my benefit amount was reduced down to only $366.10 Who can live on 366 dollars per mont Not Reliable Rip off... Run Do Not follow their Standard!!!  I was approved for LTD by Reliance Standard. I began receiving my monthly benefit of $1623.10 on 1/7/16. By the third check my benefit was reduced down to only $366.10 (Who can live on 366 dollars per month?) The reason for the reduction that was given was proof of filing for disability was required. I filed for disability on 11/23/15 (which was the date that Matrix finally advised me to file). I emailed, faxed and mailed a hardcopy of proof of filing to Matrix. I have made every good faith effort to obtain disability however the process is long and slow. I have updated Matrix and their affiliate company the Advocator Group each step of the way. My representative Michelle Cabrera talks over me on phone calls, she does not listen to me, she does not confirm receipt of items I have sent to her successfully. I am in chronic pain, I had lower back surgery on 10/22/25 I take several prescribed meds therefore I have respectfully asked that Michelle Cabrera email instead of phoning me, she refuses to correspond via email. I am completely fed up, I worked so hard for my former Employer PHH Mortgage for five years I paid into LTD it's not charity, I am entitled to this benefit now that I am injured, disabled and unable to work. I have seen a total of three Independent Evaluation Examination doctors (each has refused to release me to return to work. Along with my treating doctor because I am actually injured to the point where I am unable to work). Yet I am constantly being harassed by Michelle Cabrera and Matrix to provide duplicate documents that they have received from me multiple times. This is wrong and someone needs to help us disabled individuals, please help.
