The Reliant Home Financial/Arize Group had bluntly scammed me on March 28th 2011.  They claimed capable of helping me get a loan modification.  The Sales rep, John Wakley asked me a bunch of questions but never told me the truth actually.  He said that they would be able to help me getting a rate of 2.4%.  That's is what they do as a group and their business is to support the government program in helping people not loosing their home.  He instructed me where to go on the web to see their affiliation with the government.  He specified that I should receive an e-mail within 7 business days asking me for documents and going through details with me.

For this service, he said that I would have to pay a fee of about $5,000 in three payments of $1,663 each direct from your bank account, no check or no credit card accepted.  I stretched to make the first one on the spot because I am suffocating with my mortgage.  I never could believe that anybody or a group of individuals could be so heartless toward people in desperation.  He said that I could withdraw if I decide to later on.  After thinking deeply, I decided to get out and called him.  He gave me an address where to send my cancellation letter which I did.  After 2 weeks without response, I called him again then he said that He never told me that I could get my money back except unless I did withdraw in 5 days.

However, the email arrived way after 7 days where I got to know the truth from talking to Sarah at the ARIZE group who actually told me that I should contact them to get my refund.  It appears that something happened to her because I have never been able to talk to her after that.  One of the document that I received clearly states that cancellation should be done within 14 days not 5 days.  I also spoke with a certain David Grey who was very rude, it is obvious that this group is a bunch of individuals who are taking advantage of people in difficult situation.  I am waiting and know this whole thing will be caught.
