Remax Highlands/Jim Tuffy Russell NBNPS HOLDINGS LLC Jim Russell Is Very Unethical & Deceitful Cartersville Georgia

I contacted Jim "Tuffy" Russell about a rental he had available. I completely told him my circumstances before ever filing out an application for the property. I go to his office and fill out the application and pay the $50 app fee. He never contacts me back. I had to contact him twice to ever get an answer on the application. The answer was no with the reason being my income. My income was 3 times the rental amount so I can't see where that is the reason and I stated such to him. He then said that the owner decided and that she was funny like that. Upon doing a public records search, I found out there is NO she owner, he owns the property. He is the sole proprietor of NBNPS Holdings LLC. He did say he would return my app fee, in which he should since he knew he was never going to approve the application to begin with. Has he returned it, NO. A single Mom of 3 children doesn't have $50 to just give away. While it may not be against the law for him to keep the app fee, it is VERY unethical and VERY deceitful. I have texts from him on my phone even saying he would return it. It hasn't happened yet. So please be leary when you apply to rent anything from him.
