I registered with Remedy about four years ago. I was told my record could transfer between offices. So when an opening comes up in the Rochester office I call them and lo and behold suddenly I have to register again. I miss that opportunity but at least I am on file there for next time!
WRONG!
Another opportunity comes up less than six months later and suddenly I have to RE-register AGAIN. Full background check everything. AGAIN. They claim that they have no record of me ever applying there.
Well guess what I missed this opportunity too!
Come to find out the "injection molding position" doesn't actually exist, nor do many of the $9-11 an hour machine operator jobs they list on Craigslist. Those are just bait to get people to apply. I "missed" the opportunity for $9 an hour but they have a wide selection of minimum wage positions I can choose from.
Remedy is not the only staffing agency that is pulling this scam, I will file a separate report for each service that crosses my path.
