If your looking for a job hauling crude oil,stay away from Remuda. The will promise you anything and when you actually hire on they will say sorry, we changed our minds. Management has no idea what they're doing. It's like working for a bunch of teenagers or being part of a severely dysfunctional family. Management changes their minds on a daily basis. You are forced to drive unsafe equipment and violate HOS regulations on a daily basis.

Forget about API crude loading regulations, they don't even know what they are.  The shop is major joke, equipment is only 1.5 years old and already junk, and the safety program isn't much better. Paychecks are screwed up almost every time, and you're lucky if it's on the following check.

We're in the middle of the biggest boom in decades and they have no idea how to keep 14 trucks busy. You're lucky if you have enough loads to get a 12 hour day. Pay wouldn't be bad if they could just keep you busy. If you can put up with all the BS for 6 months, they will give you a .2% raise , that's  2/10 of 1%. Half the time, you work in the yard or shop.

Benefits are marginal at best. Please be forewarned, Remuda/Yates is not a serious option for crude hauling, there are probably worse companies to work for, but I don't know where. The little while I was there I was just thankful we worked for our parent company because no one else would hire them. I left around a month ago and it was the best thing I ever did.
